Taking place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) from August 2 to 6, the Thailand Tourism Festival (TTF) 2023 will once again display the best of the country’s tourism offerings. Visitors can expect to discover new trends, lesser-known destinations, and enjoy captivating cultural performances from various regions of Thailand.

Organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the annual exhibition has traditionally been held outdoors in Lumpini Park but this year, visitors will be able to admire the newly renovated exhibition halls of the QSNCC. Yuthasak Supasorn, TAT Governor, promises that visitors will be enthralled by the five-day showcase of the country’s wonders.

“The TTF 2023 will primarily focus on promoting lesser-known tourist attractions, sharing unique and diverse experiences, and highlighting extraordinary travel opportunities that exceed expectations. The aim is to create unforgettable impressions for all visitors while also boosting domestic travel, says TAT Governor.

Similar to previous exhibitions, the upcoming event will feature a diverse array of Thailand’s best tourism products showcased in nine different “villages” or zones. Within these zones, visitors can immerse themselves in spectacular experiences through various activities and attractions.

In the Eastern Village, foodies will rejoice as the Love Ea(s)t All Around concept ignites the appetite for travel. Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat provinces promise to tantalize with outstanding dishes and seasonal fruits. After savouring these culinary delights, visitors can explore top landmarks like Ko ‘Kai-Hua-Ro’ and Ko Si Chang, have fun with DIY workshops and embrace soft adventure activities. Thailand’s east letsyour taste buds and wanderlust unite for a more enriching experience.

Step into the enchanting Central Village, where a captivating blend of culture and creativity awaits. The highlight is the emerging unseen landmark – Manasikarn Dharma Gallery in Saraburi, which unfolds through cutting-edge presentations of images, light, audio narration, and cinematic multimedia videos. Excitement and inspiration abound in the Central region through camping ideas, unique arts and crafts, Royal Thai sweets, and the allure of organic tourism.

Located just a short walk from the East and Central zones, the Northern Village promises a delightful experience. Embracing the ‘North Nostalgia’ concept, Thailand’s north celebrates its unique traditions through glamping-style markets offering homegrown beverages like tea, coffee, and cocoa. Don’t miss the chance to savour local delicacies and Michelin-rated food, indulge in soothing massages and spa treatments, and explore handicraft shops and DIY workshops. Immerse yourself in the wonder of tourism villages and be mesmerized by spectacular shows.

Fans of Thailand’s south can Indulge in the richness of local cuisine, engage in DIY workshops, and be enthralled by folk performances and contemporary shows.

In the Northeastern Village, you’ll discover that the best travel experience is a culinary journey filled with delectable delights. Savour the essence of Isaan through twenty signature dishes from twenty different places, but don’t forget to sample the other twenty lesser-known yet sensational dishes. Witness the traditional process of making Isaan’s staple ingredient, pla ra or fermented fish, showcased alongside local arts and crafts. This vibrant showcase elevates Northeastern Thailand as an even more amazing destination, where food and culture come together in an irresistible fusion of flavours.

Beyond the village, according to Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Deputy Governor for Domestic Marketing, four additional zones showcase Amazing Thailand, Thai tourism alliances, net zero tourism, and captivating cultural and musical performances on the main stage.

One not to miss is the Amazing Thailand Zone with its array of activities. The floral installations of the Unseen New Chapters attractions cry out for selfies. Visitors can also take a virtual journey and watch Thai superstitions and folklore come alive in the ‘Home Sweet Home game. Amazing Thailand also promises to thrill with eco-friendly coffee delights and Non-Fungible Token (NFT) virtual art items.

The Thailand Tourism Festival 2023 will be held from August 2-6 between 10 am and 9 pm, at the LG Hall on floors 5-8 of the QSNCC. Admission is free. Visitors are encouraged to ride the MRT to the QSNCC Station and take Exit 3 to access the event.
