A group of 27 parents are seeking police action against a school director in Lop Buri’s Chai Badan district, alleging that he molested their children.
Some of the parents told police that they noticed changes in their daughters’ behaviour, such as isolating themselves and refusing to go to school.
When asked what was wrong, the girls claimed to their parents that they had been molested by the director.
Upon learning of the allegations, the educational office overseeing elementary schools in Lop Buri ordered the director to be temporarily transferred, pending the outcome of an investigation.
A fact-finding panel has also been set up to examine the case.
