From today, passengers using the Airport Link service can take their dog, cat, bird or tropical fish on the train, provided that they are in a cage, a bag or, in the case of tropical fish, a plastic bag.
Asia Era One Company, which operates the Airport Link train service, from Makkasan to Suvarnabhumi international airport, said this pet travel service is the first of its kind in Thailand.
Each passenger may bring only one pet on board, which must not weigh more than 10kg.
The pet travel service is available from Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm and from 8pm to midnight. On weekends, the service is available from 5.30am to midnight.
While travelling, passengers must hold the cages or bags all the time and cannot place them on the passenger seats.
