Two minor earthquakes were reported today in Chiang Mai and Buri Ram provinces.
The first tremor, measured at 3.0 on the Richter scale, was reported at 2.49am in Mae Na Chon sub-district, Mae Chaem of Chiang Mai. The epicentre of the quake was three kilometres underground.
In the north-eastern province of Buri Ram, a quake, measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale, occurred at 2.54pm today, in Hin Khon sub-district of Lam Plai Mat district.
There are no reports of damages from the two minor tremors.
