All provincial governors have been notified by the Ministry of Interior to hold a merit-making ceremony at each respective provincial hall, or other appropriate venues, to commemorate the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on October 13th, which marks the day of the passing of the beloved monarch.

The merit-making ceremony is scheduled to start at 7am with the presentation of alms to monks, to be followed by a ceremony to pay homage to the late king at 8am.  A candle-lit ceremony is to be held at 7pm at the same venues.

Members of the public are invited to participate in the events to commemorate the late and beloved King, who passed away on October 13th, 2016.
