International news leaders are in Bangkok this week for the 2024 Global News Forum which runs from July 17 to 19.
Themed “The Future of News”, this year’s Global News Forum explores how news are becoming increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence and algorithms, and how to build best practices in the news industry .
Activities include the launch of the Future of News report, the Asiavision Awards Gala and meetings of the ABU News Group.
The first day includes a tour of Thai PBS’s media studios and a welcoming remark by Wilasinee Phiphitkul, the Director General of Thai PBS.
Live streaming of the panel discussions on July 18, will be available on Thai PBS World Facebook and YouTube.
